Compete with confidence
Miguel Alves has been coaching competition riders since 1997. His programme prepares riders for FEP-affiliated showjumping and dressage events, from Provas Jovens to national circuit level.
Competition training is built around the individual rider-horse pair. Before defining a programme, we assess the rider's current level, the horse's training stage and the target competitions. Everything is then tailored to that specific combination.
Disciplines
From introductory heights (60–80 cm) to 1.20 m national circuit. Focus on approach, trajectory, impulsion and rider position under pressure.
From Preliminary tests through to Medium level. Work on collection, transitions, lateral movements and competition presentation.
